Thomas Fenner 

Thomas Fenner (a Ven, Venner) was born ca. 1500, son of Roger at Fenne of Gibbshaven. As an adult, he was a resident of Rowfant, Worth, Sussex, England. In 1524, he was named as “Thomas a Ven” in the Lay Subsidy Rolls, parish of Slaugham, county Sussex. He died in 1548 and left a will under the name Thomas Venner, kept in Sussex Wills and Administrations in the District Probate Registry at Lewes, Archdeaconry of Lewes: Book A 1, 1541–1549 (now held by the East Sussex Record Office). His son Roger also left a will at Lewes.
